From July 22 through July 31, 1994, the "Chicago Loves OS/2" billboard, depicted in the OS/2 bitmaps provided in this package, appeared on the southbound side of Lake Shore Drive in Chicago, Illinois. Two events took place nearby. From July 26 through July 28, Enterprise Expo/Windows World was held at the McCormick Place convention center. Moreover, the weekend of July 22 the Grateful Dead came to town. Concertgoers camped out near the billboard. To view these bitmaps, you need IBM OS/2 2.0 or later. You may use them as background bitmaps for your OS/2 folders and desktop. You should have a display with 256 colors (or more) for best results. First, copy one of the bitmap files to your \OS2\BITMAP directory. Then click anywhere on the OS/2 desktop background with the secondary mouse button. Select Open -> Settings, click on the Background tab, then select the bitmap from the list of possible images.
