Note on Alternate EBCDIC/Buffer Code Translation Tables
 ͹
If, on your host system, you are using the alternate EBCDIC values
for your national character set (e.g. Austrian/German Alternate,
Spanish Alternate, etc.), you will need to specify "User" as the source
on the Character Translation Customization panel. Then, specify your
national Keyboard/Display file name and the corresponding alternate
Translation Table file name (e.g. CXIOEDT.MAP, with CXIBOEDA.XLT).
 ͹
Note that the Alternate tables are used only for networks which former-
ly supported 3277 terminals, or which still support a mixture of 3277
  and 3278/79 terminals.
